Keystone Neighbor Network, a project of Organizing Empowerment Project, is a grassroots community coalition dedicated to promoting social justice and civic engagement. Broad voter participation is essential for a healthy and robust democratic society that represents the concerns of everyone.
Individual grassroots leadership in civic engagement is the key to empowering wider communities. The most important and impactful people in someone's life are their friends and family. Your voice directly impacts your local community and the overall direction of the state. You have the power to influence important issues such as voting rights, civil rights, reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and worker's rights.
Not everyone has the privilege to be able to volunteer. The opportunity to participate in community activism and civic engagement should be accessible to anyone regardless of socioeconomic status. Therefore, we compensate individuals for their time to engage with their community and discuss the importance of voting with their friends and neighbors.

Community Mobilizers are individuals who reach out to their networks of friends and family to talk about voting and elections. Community Mobilizers help ensure that their friends and family have the information they need to register to vote and are actively engaged in our democratic process.

Anyone can be a Community Mobilizer! We have Community Mobilizers from all walks of life: teachers, students, waiters, people looking for a side gig, individuals who aren’t currently employed, and retail workers. We need people who are excited to spread information about the importance of voting with the community.

We encourage you to reach out to your network of friends, family, and neighbors to inform them about voter registration deadlines, election dates, and issues on the ballot.

You can work your own hours using your own phone. You’ll attend an online training to learn how the program works, and then you’ll call, text, or message the people on your list to share information and have conversations with them a handful of times between now and November 4, 2025.

We want you to encourage the people in your network to check their voter registration status, share information on how to register to vote, encourage them to vote, know where their polling place is, and get reminders on deadlines for the upcoming election.
